SF’s Epic “Drag Me Downtown” Summer Pop Ups (June 2025)
It’s back, and it’s bolder than ever! Drag Me Downtown returns for its highly anticipated third year!
This fabulous series of pop-up drag shows will light up a different downtown San Francisco business every Friday throughout Pride Month, bringing sparkle, fierce performances, and a celebration of inclusivity to the heart of the city. Produced in partnership with Bobby Friday—the creative force behind Haus of Friday—Drag Me Downtown will support local businesses while serving as a reminder that Downtown San Francisco is for everyone.
Doors open at 4:30pm, show starts at 5:00pm. Experience electrifying performances by your favorite Bay Area performers as this sequin-studded series transforms local businesses (and an entire block!) into center stage for legendary lip-syncs. Indulge in delicious bites, specialty cocktails, and a healthy dose of wit, grit, and undeniable glamour.
Drag Me to Front St Block Party
The final event, Drag Me to Front St Block Party, will take place on Friday, June 27 (separate pre-registration required), in California’s first-ever Entertainment Zone—and will be co-hosted by special guest, the legendary Peaches Christ. Plus, a post-performance after party! Expect energy, bold fashion, and unforgettable moments in one of downtown’s most dynamic spaces.

This event is produced and hosted by Downtown SF Partnership, a nonprofit commnity benefit district working to enhance the downtown core, the Financial District and historic Jackson Square through public/private partnerships, placemaking, public realm activations, ceaning and saftey services, marketing, economic development, and more.
